I think the Mt Ridge single track is fairly challenging. If you can make it at Mt Ridge you will do pretty well anywhere.

Last time I rode with the DAMN fellas (on my KDX) I had an awesome time. It started pretty easy.... like a 2/10 and then got progressively harder. I bailed at what felt like a 5/10, when guys dropped down a dirt/mud cliff skidding bikes sideways down into the forest. Oooofa.

Ready to go back for more! Starting easy and getting tougher was definitely good for confidence/skill building.

Looks like on-line registration has opened on the ECEA site and the drawing in on May 29th. My cousin was talking about coming so let me see what his deal is when I see him next Saturday at RAC and we can sign-up right after.

I saw your videos from Granville's, you'll be fine. Just treat it like a DS ride and don't worry (too much) about the time.

My riding is getting better, and the Chinabike is still chugging along. Skinny-J gave us a good shakedown this weekend at RAC.

However, I still don't know so much technical stuff. Like what is "JATing" ?!?!?

Jay's trailer is called the JAT (Jay Adventure Trailer), I was asking if you plan to ride/ camp with us.

Actually, I've got a buddy who has a vacation house not too far from there, so might make it a weekend to visit. That way he can drive me home when I can't lift my legs at the end of the day. THINKING AHEAD !!!
