Hancock Quarry Run - Aug 3 & 4th

Post by Skinny-J »

Having just gotten back from the Ridge Run Enduro I have been reminded of how awesome this general area is for riding dirt bikes! Hancock is like 19 miles from Deposit, NY where the enduro was so very similar topography. I have done the Quarry Run in the past and can vouch for its awesome-ness; and its been too long since I have been back so its time to change that!!

Here is a link with more details: Quarry Run
(When they say "Good Knobby tires are strongly recommended" they mean it......)

The JAT will be departing Hereford late Friday afternoon, best jump on board soon....

It's like a enduro without checks! DAMN near all single track too. Make plans early, the town is small and there isn't much there.
Lots of cool bikes---

Ive been told by you and Sam how good of an event this is. Id certainly like to do it. But I also have the Michaux DS on the 18th. And I was thinking very strongly about the 3springs enduro the week before on the 11th.

This would fall on the first weekend in August....

You have done the Three Springs, other than being close to home, why go? This ride is 2 days of 100 miles of some really spectacular riding. Endless single track. They do not have options, they have bypasses for us :chicken kiss: , the main course includes all the hard sections. You would not regret it.

You are laying down some really good reasons to go.

Having to be gone for 2+ nights is the hardest part to work with. Especially shortly after I will have taken off from my family for a week in Michigan.
