Cold Day Ride

Had a great day riding and doing a little trailwork. A few guys met me at an undisclosed location for some fun.

I brought Xena along today.

It was below freezing in the morning, but she didn't have issue getting in.

Sonny (AAI) came out and I let him ride my trials bike. On a light weight bike where he can actually touch the ground when he needed to, he did awesome! He was really getting a feel for it. A couple times I turned around to see him effortlessly hopping a log with a big smile on his face.

Excuse the crappy cell pics. This is the start of a tricky uphill section

A turn 1/2 way up is the hardest part. I think this was the only time Sonny stopped for a soil sample.

I finally got Sam to come out for a ride here. He had a good time.

This creek crossing is tricky, the rocks are REALLY slick.

Sonny brought his little quad along and carried a saw and some tools for us. (Way easier than lugging everything on foot!)

This spot is a short but almost vertical little rise. It caught Sam offguard.

He gave it considerably more throttle on his next time through!

He caught air and this was his landing

This new trail we were working on has some cool spots. I look forward to finishing it and having some more guys out to ride.

It was good to meet Sam and Steve yesterday. As always thank you for the invite to the Farm. Next time let’s try a leaf blower to mark the new trail, blow 2’ swath of leaves to darken the route. Regardless just let me know, this is actually my favorite time of the year lol, cooler weather. Riding the Sherco was awesome on inclines, thanks for bringing it. It’s incredible how that two stroke just lugs with minimal input. When I went to the Beta demo day it was all flat terrain and didn’t experience that, certainly no lay downs and logs on the marked trail. Can’t wait for mine to be delivered. The riding tips has really gotten me hooked. ImageImage

I can't wait to make it back out. It was a cold ride in to work yesterday morning (19.8 degrees), but a good day of work at least. Looks like you guys had a good time.

Phil, you need to hook a brother up. That looks like endless potential.
