You're probably already aware but on the way down from the top of the blue trail there are some boulders:

I'm actually off that day, but I have some family stuff.

I'm sure you will be able to find some good rocks without me as guide

Such a perfect day.
I did not snap any pictures but one guy did. Any stops I was resting as I was trying to keep up with a 1985 Yamaha with drum brakes vs the others on modern bikes.
Spent the day on the jeep areas from shooting range to thru the blue trail. The jeeps have the rocks gardens in perfect condition.
Everyone that was new to the Cove said they will be back.
Burnt 3 tanks of gas, that is a bunch of rock hoping. The best 6 day area is the "V" trail that you can run all the way to the base of the mountain...water flowing and just a steady bed of rocks to ride. Goal ride the full length with no dabs.
Word got out some silly old guys on trials bikes are flopping around in the rocks....kept having quads and jeeps looking for us.
Bumped into a guy with a SurRon (spelling?) and he was trying to go up the blue trail. That was worth watching...

Phil you would have liked it, not the normal mega tight turns and hop stuff but more of a look at that mile long flow of rocks up the mountain...get to the other end and if froggy attempt to do it counting dabs. Most of the trails where on dirt bike we say "screw it" well that was what we wanted and found far more than I expected. Those crisp oak leaves were like ice.
