Just signed up for this tonight. Never been to an HMDR event but sounds like good riding.

Also signed up the Mrs and the Boy but who knows if they will actually go. Hope some of my other buds make it...

I raced the 2018 Sprint Enduro in 2018 and was a great time - they had 3 loops easy, medium, hard. And I happily made it through all three. Would do it again!

I’m not sure I understand the format.
Classes or C loop? Fun ride or race?

Seems like Sat is a fun ride, no race, just ride the trails with friends and family. Plenty of bailouts to the easy loop. Sunday, a timed section (race) that is "hare scramble" like. Seems like a good deal to me. New trails and not too far from DC area. For a rough idea, those that have ridden Eagle Bay, that main loop is ~20 miles long, so you get an idea of what the length of the Sat loop would be like. For the Sunday event, looks like they are taking a 4 mile section of that Sat loop for the timed event.

The boy and I are signed up for both days, and I checked the thing to do the hot laps. This should be a great time!

I plan to come up early Sat morning. I will try to park by SJ and Phoo if I can. I'll be on the TM, so should be easy to find me!

Planning drive time and travel - what time are you guys gonna arrive Saturday morning?
I will be rolling in with a surprisingly rugged white china bike in a blacked out Silverado...
