Replacement banjoes

Post by phoo »

Where can I get a replacement banjo during for a brake line? I was going to replace my front lime when I realized the only thing wrong with my current line is the top banjo broke. The line is still plenty long enough because my bars were cut shorter.

Thanks,

Also, I'm looking for one I can crimp onto a steel braided hose, not bolt on.

Is this what I need? http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance- ... Id=1300664 I found a link saying a proper crimper costs a minimum of $1k, so these would (if I understand it correctly) not require a crimper and instead just uses a fitting you bolt on.

Thanks,

lots of different threads/pitch for the various banjo bolts. Is it for Jap or Euro? Most all local bike shops have them in the various sizes. Or is it not the bolt but the fitting? Might be cheaper to buy a new line.
