I saw this bike first hand this weekend and it did turn out very nice. Jacob had a particular gleam in his eye as he sat on it so I believe he is much richer for the experience of resurrecting it from the ashes.

Was a good looking bike when I saw it yesterday.
We might have a new resident fast guy w/ him mounted on a full size (full power) bike.

Sorry I didn't answer sooner we've been working the Green Marble all weekend, just got home.BillyGoat wrote:How much the engine cost? Where'd you get it?
We had the blown up one & rebuilt it. Lucky the head was still usable & I sent it out to Fastheads & got one of their better packages with the Berylium seats. Jacob & I did all the assembely. I used a new oem crank, cylinder, gaskets, & a Wisco piston. I spent a bit over $1200 on the motor, you could save some money with a Hotrods bottom end kit, stainless valves & probably wouldn't need a Cylinder if it didn't drop a valve.

Indeed... I watched him rip up a nasty curvy hill today on the AB section today & he really looked good... was very exciting to watch.

That bike ran great on Saturday, and Jacob was riding really well. He stayed right with me and Linus all day. Get him some hand guards, and I think he will be leaving me in the dust.
