Neat!Laoch wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2020 11:57 am Finished putting my old Beta back together. The seat looks like crap, but it's original. I need side panels, I've got some diamond plate laying around, so I'll see what I can do. All I need to do now is add gas and start kicking.

Re: What did you work on today?
Got another piece of L-track mounted in the van to put the 'cabinets' on. One more piece to go and I'll be finished w/ that part of the build.
Laced the 21" front wheel for the SurRon. Not tensioned/trued yet. (Originals are 19x1.40. I'm building a 19x1.85 and 21x1.60 w/ moto rims)

Re: What did you work on today?
Ok, I'll play. I've spent the last 2 weeks at my parents house to avoid the possibility of giving the zombie germ to my MIL (lung cancer survivor) so I've been knocking out all the little PIA projects that have been hanging around:
I got a set of (chinesium) forks:
The first thing I had to do was add spacers, they lasted about as long as I thought they would...
After the first use..
Beefed them up a bit, works good now!

Moved the spare tire mount on the race trailer:
It was mounted on the hitch where is got in the was and the negative air pressure while being towed tore the cover(s) off the spare.

Re: What did you work on today?
I have the entire front half of my house covered in new metal roofing now. I'm going to start on the back tomorrow.
45 screws per panel. 23 panels per half. Plus ridge vent. Plus gable trim.

Re: What did you work on today?
Finished up a couple more tidbits today:
The lights on the little trailer where blowing fuses on the truck so I re-wired them and replaced with LEDs:
While on the subject of lights, I relocated the lights on my big trailer and installed new units as well as replace the center marker lights:
Also replaced the pipe on the Beta with a replaired spare, they did really great work!
Tomorrow I'm adding some bling to my new (to me) truck!
