Re: What did you work on today?
The girlfriend has been using the hell out of the old frontier lately and it has spent quite a bit of time near the rear bumpstops these last few trips. I bought this air bag kit for my Xterra 5+ years ago but never bothered to install it on that truck. Might as well use it now.
Would have been super easy to install if all 4 of the factory bump stop bolts didn't snap off I used the air hammer to break off the welded nuts then dropped in a bolt.
Wrapped a piece of solder in the threads, fed it through the frame and out the holes where needed. Easy peasy.
Next task is an easy to use air source to keep on the truck to air it up.

Replaced door hinges on the new Frontier. Probably could have replaced the pins and bushings but wasn't sure if the hinge pieces themselves were worn as well. The door was sagging enough the top corner had rubbed the paint off the B pillar.
Also replaced the spark plugs and a torn air boot at the throttle body.

Re: What did you work on today?
No fully functional with dimmer. That was the easy part. The issue was figuring out the Chinese directions, which was a picture of a similar chandelier. Ended up looking at the reviews at other people’s photos. And the fact that my ladder was a 14’ and I needed a minimum of 16’. I had to fashion some 2’ ladder stilts.Bork wrote: You mean there is no electric to it?
