Looking for a CRF250X front wheel

Post by juddspaintballs »

My buddy wrecked during a Hare Scramble on Sunday and bent up his front wheel on his CRF250X. He needs a wheel before another race on Saturday.

If no one has a line on a local wheel, how about someone to lace up a wheel? I offered him my KRL250's front wheel that he could have laced up with his CRF's hub, but we don't know anyone that laces wheels. He lives in Great Falls, VA and keeps his bike in Winchester, VA and I live in Berkeley Springs, WV.

I know some guys have used Dual Sport Armory for engine/suspension stuff, not sure if they could help with the wheel but might be worth a call since they're in Winchester:

He's already been to Allen. Skip knows him well and takes all of his tire changes there since it's so close and cheap.

Contact Jeremy Deaton in Hagerstown 3016397735 he did a wheel for a buddy here at work.

I have a wheel off a '99 CR125 less rotor. Knowing Honda it's the same wheel. Lemme know.

EDIT: Looking at Ron Ayers the main part number is the same for the wheel sub assembly. Just the sub number denoting year/model is different.

And I'm in Gaithersburg until Friday evening. The wheel is in Ft. Ashby WV.
