2006 Husqvarna SM610 For Sale

Post by Firebolter »

Too many bikes, not enough time! With the recent acquisition of a Z1000 to feed my need for speed, I see the SM610 not being ridden much. It is a 2006, carb model with a little over 6000 miles on it. It is white and red. I have been the owner since new, so it has only been in my hands. has a nice Arrow Titanium can on it, new Distanzas with less than 500 miles on them. Bike runs great. Has a JD jet kit and is set up for spring/summer. Front seal beam has a crack in the glass but it works and not worth replacing, never had an issue. This was a known issue with the bikes when they first came out and I never got the warranty replacement. Has a Seat Concepts seat on it and it nice and comfy. CRG sport mirrors to keep it legal. All blinkers, lights, horn etc. work as they should.

Only other issue these bikes had (apart from the seal beam cracking) was a loose (not torqued to spec) nut on the main drive gear. After that was put out to the world, I popped the case and sure enough, mine was not tight but I caught it before the woodruff key on the shaft broke, so I replaced the key and torqued to spec. No other issues with the bike.

Great brembo brakes, probably some of the best brakes on a bike I have had. Good strong runner and alot of fun, but I think the Z will get most of my road time when not on the 800ADV.

3500.00 OBO call me at 301-343-6666

I travel alot for work, so here off and on! I'll try to get some pics up in the coming days. Not in a big rush to sell it, but hate to see it just sit there on the battery tender.

I always thought those were sweet bikes. I always liked the one that RRob had.
But I will have to make due with my DR650 as my "adventure motard" for the time being.

Got a call on it. If I don't sell it in the next month or so, it may just move to Florida to my GF house for weekend duty!

If he needs to store it, I'm closer. I'd be happy to make sure the oil circulates periodically.

I want this thing! Bad. But I've got to scrape cash together. A little worried it'll be gone before I get the chance!
