Got a message from BDirt saying he and some Dirtbags are camping at GR tonight (Sunday). :screwy: Braving the snow & temps by working out with Big Red and some quads. Making it thru the night with thier survivor skills.Yikes

Well we made it threw the campout, temps were low 20s mostly and around 18 overnight. We came highly prepared thanks mostly to my dad who planned and prepared for just about anything. The dirtbags included myself driving Big Red, brother on a Honda 250ex, brother in law on his Honda 04 Rincon and my dad with his 04 Honda Rubicon. We arrived around 11am sunday morning and stayed til about 1pm today. We stayed at site 63 which normally has a awesome view but with the weather all we could see was snow  There were alot of trees down from the recent ice storms and spent 2-3 hours clearing the upper trail section just past out site that seemed affected the most by ice. We had a kickass time :kumbaya: , did a bunch of riding while it was snowing and stayed warm most of the time. My brother in law found ice the hard way when he rounded a corner on the trail coming down from the upper section, crossed up and rolled his quad down a steep bank about 25-30 feet below. Lucky for him he bailed off only hurting his elbow enought to make it sore and barely hurting the quad. And what sucked the most was it was about 8 sunday night when we went for a ride but he was alright. Anyhow I got acouple pics for you guys and if you havent camped in sub temps.... dont! stay home where its warm!Image

The first pic is a short cut we had to take because there was a huge tree that had the trail blocked. This next one is a pic of my brother chillin :bandit:
