If I could create a poll, this is what it would be...
If you could do one or the other, which would you do first?
A: Have your suspension professionally tuned.
or
B: Buy/Install a Scotts Damper (Stabilizer)
A few things to consider while making a decision.
1.The bike's front & rear suspension is not balanced (from the factory)
2.You're a “C” rider and you had no clue about #1 until you read it.
3.You can do both, but one of them will have to wait
4.There are a few homegrown tricks to do help the suspension
5.You're an old fart looking for the biggest bang for the buck

you should get the suspension tuned. A damper would do diddly shit for poor suspension.

suspension.
I remember the first ride I took on a properly sprung bike - it was like riding on rails. The bike rocketed out of turns, and little whoops no longer sent me off the trail.

Thanks for the input. The forks & shocks are going to the suspension tuner this weekend.
This guy has a little shop named DEF Performance (his initials) and he's located in Hanover, PA. He's got a hand full of bikes to get ready for his GNCC customers so it'll take about 2 weeks to complete my suspension.

Good choice. When your penny jar fills up again, *then* get the steering damper -- it's amazing how much easier it is to ride fast with one. If you never ride fast, skip it and buy tires and gas.
