Nice to finally meet Dude (and his wife), and Mike (and girlfriend).

However the show was a little dissapointing compared to 2-3 years ago. No neat Urals to check out, no KTM, no BMW, no Huskys.

I couldn't even bring myself to take any pics...it was fairly 'enh'. Well, for a moment I thought about pulling the camera out for a snap of the Confederate, but in person it looked more like somebody's TIG-welding art project than a serious piece of design.

Did try on the new Fulmer ADV helmet, which seems comparable in materials to the AFX but more nicely finished. Loved the graphics. Front vent has a simple open/close mechanism, but the moving part is a bit fragile - the size XL demo had popped off its hinge on one side. And inside the helmet, the ear pockets aren't as generous as they are on the AFX.

Also figured I might as well have the Arai rep fit me for an XD3 in case I win the lottery; man, I know they're really expensive, but that's one nice piece of gear.
