2nd Annual DAMN Riders Birthday Camp & Ride

I'm comming up mid to late morning on Saturday and will bring a case of beer and 3 lbs of burger meat (and some buns, etc.) which is WAY more than I can drink/eat.

So if some of you want to not worry about dinner food I'll have a bunch of extra for the taking.

I survived my first crash on the WR250R yesterday with only a slightly cracked rib (only REALLY hurts when I sneeze) and a few miscellaneous scrapes and bruses. I lost concentration and got my front wheel on the outside of a sharp little berm in the middle of the forest road on a medium speed sweeper.

This old guy is looking forward to the weekend to see if I have any chance of riding single track, etc. after a 25 year "vacation"?

Things are great in Barton. Lots of folks, familys and kids. Only one hospital visit. Rider is OK, impaled bicep, deep muscle brusing. Weather was good today, a little chill but perfect for riding. I my case, watching. Good time anyway.
