I'm looking for the following parts for my TL1000 sidecar project. Look in your stash of unused shit and let me know if you have anything close!
- Plastic set for a 2005-2007 RM-Z450
- Subframe (OEM) for a 2005-2007 RM-Z450
- Oil cooler for a 2002 TL1000R - maybe an oil cooler of off a comparable bike? Will be mounted in the hack
- small radiator from a car or other vehicle that would work with a TL1000. Will be mounted in the hack
- fan(s) for above
- 6g self-contained fuel tank - will be mounted in the hack
- fender for a 155-13 tire
I also need an external fuel pump for the TL motor but haven't figured out the size yet

Recommend the Facet 40171 for the external pump. All the 950s migrate to this pump after the points in their OEM pump pit too badly. Be sure to get the accompanying fuel filter.

Get a load of this. The fuel pump needs to deliver 1 liter per minute at 47 PSI!

Re: WTB: Parts for my Sidecar Project
That sounds about right. Holley and other performance parts folks make ones that put out a lot more than that. Should be easy and relatively cheap to get one. Check Summit or Jegs.

Look to the marine and farm supply places for plastic fuel tanks. Here's the first one I found.

If you need a fuel *cell* (contains internal anti-slosh, anti-explosion baffling), check out racing supplier sites. Again, the first one I found (not that there's anything wrong with Summit, they're one of the bigger vendors)

Also, have a look at Just Gas Tanks -- they have some interesting products, and are about the cheapest place I've found for aftermarket MC tanks like Clarke or IMS. They also carry Rotopax aux. tanks, they're awesome good products.

Re: WTB: Parts for my Sidecar Project
Thanks Al! I've been eyeballing tanks at Summit. I'm starting to think I'll make one. A lot depends on if we can route the exhaust, 2 into 1, out the back over the tire. Then I could make a custom shaped tank to fit in the front of the hack where the exhaust normally goes.
