Sidecar Show at Bob's BMW - August 16th

Post by Rut Row » Wed Aug 06, 2008 8:23 pm

8/16/2008, Show n Shine: Sidecar Show

Time to fire up the old Sidecar Rig and bring it to Bob's for a blazing good time! Yes, for those of you who take your FUN with an extra wheel attached, this is YOUR Special Day. Come out to meet your fellow sidecar and trike buffs. Show off your rig. Take advantage of specials and surprises just for you.

All brands and types are welcome! Vintage or modern, fancy or functional, fast or slow: if it's got three wheels we want to see it! (Don’t worry. Armament is not required. It’s just optional)

Hey, don't own a sidecar but always been CURIOUS? Well here's your chance to experience the thrill first hand. We'll be offering RIDES! Yes, for a $25 donation to charity, you can go out for a ride in your choice of vintage or modern sidecar, or a trike. Email (events@bobsbmw.com) to reserve your ride time between 10am and 3pm no later than Friday, August 15th and let us know if you want a ride in the sidecar or trike. This is fun you won't forget. More details coming.

Here's a few pics of the most interesting hacks at Bob's today. Not many there to drool over. They had some R1200GS bikes out to demo but I drove the car over and was in shorts... :foul: ... so no test rides for Ken.

Cool photos. The yellow brick looks like fun. Did you get a monkey ride in any of them?

I like the WWII lookin hack.

The center hub steering rigs are supposed to handle pretty good, would be fun to find out.
