DAMN Island camp out Sept. 17-18

I've been doing a lot of Stand Up Paddleboarding this summer. If anyone wants to paddle out from shore let me know, it would be a fun paddle. I usually go up to Gunpowder Falls State Park.

Spent some time yesterday out by the island with Junior and Wingfixer doing a little tubing. Good times, lots of good crashes but didn't get most on video.

Also, there are bathrooms on the island if it matters to anyone. Not right at the campsites, but a easy walk or paddle up the shore.

Fun indeed! Being that we were about 100 lbs. over the weight limit of the tube, it really shined @ about 10mph over the recommended safe speed. We need a smooth bottom tube next time so we can get some whip over the wake. That one was fun, but tracked too straight.

I should be in! My wife and I picked up a 20' cuddy cabin this summer - the KTM is going on the block shortly. We've overnighted on it a few times lots of fun!

She's gotta work on the 17th, but gets off by 4pm.

Also, Sat the 18th is the Essex skypark's "Wings n Wheels" show. Usually a good time, and only about a mile from Rocky Point park (the closest water access to the island). Car and airplane show. Last year they were doing small plane rides for $20 for 20min. out over the bay and east Baltimore. Good times if anyone wants to check it out, it's a cool little local skypark. We could hit the show if anyone's interested , then head to the island.
