5.8 it says. Felt as far out as western Maryland! Felt trippy here in Annapolis. My dog looked at me like WTF?

Felt here in parkville md.Sitting on the couch and it just started shaking. A little scary.

Apparently, it was felt all the way from South Carolina to Martha's Vineyard (that's in Massachusetts for you "Suth'nuhs.")

I lived in California for 7-8 years, and that was the first earthquake I was present and awake for. I even slept through the mini quake we had here a few years ago.

I went through a 6.1 before in Japan. I was shaving for work, lived on the 9th floor of a 12 floor high rise housing on base. Scared the bee-jesus out of me! This one, I got up and went to the front door, but kept an eye on the pictures and stuff just in case. Nothing fell off the wall, but a couple of things on shelves did fall. I thought maybe Obama had announced his Job's plan and even the earth said eff you..............
