5.8 it says. Felt as far out as western Maryland! Felt trippy here in Annapolis. My dog looked at me like WTF? :huh:

Apparently, it was felt all the way from South Carolina to Martha's Vineyard (that's in Massachusetts for you "Suth'nuhs.")

I lived in California for 7-8 years, and that was the first earthquake I was present and awake for. I even slept through the mini quake we had here a few years ago.

I went through a 6.1 before in Japan. I was shaving for work, lived on the 9th floor of a 12 floor high rise housing on base. Scared the bee-jesus out of me! This one, I got up and went to the front door, but kept an eye on the pictures and stuff just in case. Nothing fell off the wall, but a couple of things on shelves did fall. I thought maybe Obama had announced his Job's plan and even the earth said eff you..............
