Third Annual Blind Enduro Nov 25th
Re: Third Annual Blind Enduro Nov 25th
Ummm....I'm confused Patrick....This blind enduro format is that no time keeping is allowed, only your skill in matching your speed thru the course 2 times. I'm hoping that I am misunderstanding this....or are you saying that he didn't even try to match times but fortunate coincidences resulted in nearly exactly 2 of the same times?

Yes, what the asterisk was trying to say was that he didn't time it on purpose, it was just funny that the sequence of choices he made caused the perfect delay as to match the times.
They claim they prohibit timekeeping devices, but really there is nothing keeping you from using one. But their format is so fubar that matching your time on purpose would be difficult at best.

Here's some helmetcam from the start of the afternoon loop -
Totally agree with Phoo's comment about not letting everyone go - my morning loop drove me crazy after I decided to just play it safe and let people go off on the start. For the afternoon loop, I didn't do that and didn't get stuck in bottlenecks. This year, BillyGoat and I agree that starting on the B-row and following the fast dudes is better than doing C-loop and trying to get ahead of the gang.

So...$20, sign up day of event, three different rider level based courses, ride from 10-2. What's not to like?
I don't see any AMA or other membership requirements?

No AMA requirement. (Although one of these years you are going to end up joining the AMA.... )

This will be a perfect ride to break the new bike in, assuming it comes in by then. If not, the 310 will work! These events are fun, while I haven't done this one, the WATR Spring Trail Ride is the same type format. That event is this weekend for those that want to go ride at Eagle Bay.
Lots of cool bikes---
