1995 Montesa 314 Trials Bike

My buddy has been shopping for a trials bike recently and has made a choice. One of the bikes that he decided to pass on is a nice looking 1995 Montesa 314. I believe that it is still available for $1,200. I don't know the owner - it's a friend of a friend thing. I have a contact number, but I haven't asked permission to post it. I had one of these and it was a good bike. A little heavier than current stuff, but very reliable (Honda motor) and easy to ride. IMO a great starter bike.

I also had a 314, built like a brick. You could throw it off a cliff tuff.
They have a mild / hot setting under the seat.
In the hot mode it was a fun trail bike.
As Moto-J said it was a bit heavy for the time being a modern trials bike.
Add a CRF-50 seat and have a FrankenTesa like Big Birds FrankenBeta.
Only issue I had with the bike was back brakes were a bit wimpy, might have just needed new pads.
