Working again

I'm curious- is this all on public access roads?
Nothing like Michaux where we get access to ATV/MB/horse trails?

Everything was "legal" riding. Driveable trails and parts of the dual sport system.
If you know how to tie things together you could go ride it tomorrow.
Many sections of the dual sport system are closed and the beauty of the organized ride is you can just follow along and pick what options you want to do and not have to be re-routing because a trail is closed you planned on using.
PaTRA is the reason the dual sport trails exist and if nothing else support them by doing the organized ride and funding the cause.
Billy Goat, Firebolter, Longboardr and myself were the only DAMN riders I noticed at this event and we were all workers. Firebolter even paid the sign up and spent the day working with the rest of us.
IMHO it was a DAMN shame to have such a piss poor showing from the DAMN riders.
They even added a 2 day ADV loop for those with bigger bikes not wanting to take on the more challenging dual sport trails.
Total head count was just over 100 riders.
The woods was yours to enjoy, no 500+ head count like at the Dabbers or Hammer.

It isn't like you didn't give enough notice.

I would have come but I have an agreement with The Bride I won't ride two weekends in a row. It is on my to-do list.

I am duly scolded :nono:
My only excuse is that the QOFE wanted me to steer the tandem while she pushed me and Bandit up a LOT of hills on the annual Catoctin Challenge Charity Ride bike weekend with overnight camp near Camp David!
The QOFE did GOOD and Bandit was the STAR participant! :loveit:

Also suitably singed. While we're offering up excuses, my daughter had a dance recital and my parents and grandmother were visiting. Hopefully next year will have better luck than the last two years.

It is a great time. I rode 217 miles Fri, Sat, Sun. It was fun helping out on the adventure ride 89ish miles and the D/S ride 110ish miles. I'd recommend riding it next year.
