Happy B-day Jack! Mine is on 10/21, how close are we?

I wish I was 16 again and knew what I know now. I would NOT have waited until my late 30's to make the switch from four-wheelers to dirt bikes; but it has been a fun trip none the less....

Unfortunately I can not make your B-day ride as the Mrs. and I are doing a little 2 wheeled trip that weekend in honor of the 10 year anniversary of our engagement. Its one of the first 2 wheeled trips we have done since we started having kids so wish me luck!

I know where you could borrow a nice GL1800A with Traxxion Dynamics Full Monty for that weekend - BUT you need to be prepared to purchase your own once your sweetie falls in love with it! :lol2:

Any chance Big Bird, Gail, and bandit will make an appearance? Gail made me promise to learn a few new songs, I need to know if I need to start practicing them :dirtdog:

We wouldn't miss it!

We will also have our daughter Stacey along with her FrankenBeta 80 and the RZR for all to enjoy.
I KNOW the QOFE will LOVE your songs :loveit:

What is Granville's like with all the leaves lying on ground? More hidden surprises & slipperier? :brows:

I generally find I do better (mind you that is NOT saying much coming from the OFG) when the leaves are on the ground.

I think it is because I can't see all the little rocks, roots, puddles, etc. so I don't worry about them and just watch for the big stuff that USUALLY pokes through the leaves. Also since I think it is probably slipperier I ride a little faster/smoother and so don't loose momentum and get stuck (as often) on stuff.

I went riding there last weekend. Its dry with some leaves on the ground but traction was never at a loss, even on the legendary double.
