Boneyard, where are your friends from? I'm from New England, too (but living in Maryland).

Is there anything going on Friday night? I'm about 2.5h away and could there any time after 5p depending on if I went straight after work or went home first.

I just moved to MD from Rhode Island. All the guys coming live in RI but I believe some may have been originally from Mass. I see you aren't far away from me.....let me know if you want to get out and ride sometime.

I don't know of anything going on Friday night. I plan to get there around 6 and will probably head out for dinner with the guys who make it in early enough.

Sorry to miss the Trials Open House - BUT the Hammer was SUPER FUN

I think they had 600+ people - PERFECT weather - GREAT trails - and of course I had THE BEST riding partner imaginable

phoo must have had fun at the Saturday Party (with band and a Fire Truck dispensing FREE BEER) as he didn't make it back to the motel until midnight!

Had a nice visit With Skinny-J who did Saturday.

Vicki is helping me learn to ride better as I HAVE to just to keep that gal in sight She even got the OFG to try standing on the whoops on the last couple of hours Sunday (and it worked pretty good)

I can remember the first year I rode it being soooo tired I could barley make it, having NO idea how to ride SAND or BERMS or WHOOPS and having to skip the last 10 miles Saturday because the sweep guy caught me and told me they were closing the course. Vs this year when I wasn't even tired and felt like I could have done another lap both days. It is SO MUCH easier when you kind of know how to let the BIKE do the work rather than fighting is all the way!

PS: I finally connected with the LOOONG missing Sallydog as well. He is off his dirt bike for a wile - to let a broken hand heal - BUT seemed to be enjoying the PARTY part of Hammer He was on his Tenere, which is a 2012 and I think he said has 27K miles on it!

I saw rider numbers in the 920's. The parking/camping area was full!
