SPIKES RULE!

Post by BigBird » Tue Dec 17, 2013 4:32 pm

Any SPIKE Users Out There?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have spiked tires for my 300 4t FrankenBeta OFG trail bike. Got to enjoy them for several hours in the snow with Becky B and her BOYZ Sunday. SPIKES RULE! The OFG could actually stay with and even get ahead of some of the 4Oish young Turks that were spikeless!

I JUST got another set for my spare KTM wheels - so WINTER - NO PROBLEM!

I find they are good in the snow but REALLY GREAT on the frozen mud and iced roots and logs.

You have to get to tires subsection then about 2/3 down that is SPIKED tires!

order a set for your new trials bike :jack:
Oh wait...you probably would.
I will second that with spikes you have no winter down time and things that are hard to ride during the normal riding year is silly easy come winter and the spikes go on.
Just don't run over your foot. :poser:

Screwed up a set of MT16's for winter fun. Went out after the last snow, we had about 8 inches in the fields and an icy mix on the roads. Cruised the roads and blasted through some corn fields, and had perfect traction everywhere. Can't wait for more snow!
