Son is outgrowing the PW50, and the daughter already has. His inseam is 23" and hers is 25". CRF50F might be a tiny bit on the small size, CRF70F is a little on the big side. What bikes are good, and does anyone have any for sale?
Thanks,
~Patrick
I have been having problems with the server running out of resources and giving errors. It is better but I'm still getting some periodically. Please report any you get to me at ken@kyler.com.

Re: looking for CRF50F or equivalent
I moved my son to a KLX110 when he out grew his CRF50f. It's about the same height as the CRF70f. I will bw selling it as soon as I get a replacement for it....Looking for a KX65 or KTM65 as he wants to start racing. I also have some of his old gear that is in really good shape.

Jacob stayed on his Honda 50 untill he was big enough for a Honda 80. I don't remember how much bigger it was than the 70 but we wanted to get him going with a real clutch. Then he started outgrowing bikes like shoes
We also have some gear for little guys... I'll get him to round it up & pass it on.

Re: looking for CRF50F or equivalent
I bought a CRF50F last night for a good price. My son is on the edge of too big for it. My daughter will outgrow it quickly. I am scheduled to buy a CRF70F Wednesday for a good price. Plan is to either keep them separate for a bit or jam the 50 suspension and wheels onto the 70 to make that shorter or the 70 suspension onto to 50 to make it bigger. Considering the 50 pulled me up my steep hill from a dead stop, the 50 clearly has enough torque so I'll probably raise up the 50 until they are big enough to ride the 70. The Internet says all this is possible, so it must be true!
It seems like a good idea because I priced 50 suspension for the 70 and it would cost almost as much as the 50 cost me, and I can sell the 50 potentially at a profit when I'm done with it.
Thanks,
~Patrick

Re: looking for CRF50F or equivalent
BTW, CRF50F has seat height of 21.6 in, CRF70F has seat height of 26.x in. What a huge difference. :/ Son has 22" inseam, daughter has 25" inseam. I guess I'll figure it all out when I get the new one. :-D

Re: looking for CRF50F or equivalent
I started the older kids out on a JR50, when they started out growning that they moved up to TTR110s. Talk about a jump in size. They still like to ride the JR50 around the yard from time to time since they can kick start it. The bigger wheels and electric start on the TTRs make trail riding a lot better. The younger kids just mastered riding a byclicle with out traing wheels and are starting to ride the JR50. The younger ones are used to the ATVs and it is hard trying to teach them to control the throttle on the bike.

Re: looking for CRF50F or equivalent
I did end up getting both the 50 and the 70 CRFs. The 50 is actually a pretty good size for the boy but he'll outgrow it quickly. The 70 is a little big for the girl but she should grow into it in the Spring.
