Looks like I'll be showing up Saturday morning, just me and the boy and possibly the dog. Plan is to do several laps with the boy on his new bike and if he ever gets tired, and I can find someone to watch the boy, maybe I can get a lap in the woods. Also, if anyone is willing to take me for a lap with my lifted up grocery getter (4runner), I'll be bringing my recovery gear so I can try some wheeling.

I'm not sure if I'll be spending the night or not, but I'll bring camping gear just in case the campfire is too tempting to go home.

What are the specs on the 4runner?

2006 4runner 4.0L, 33" wheels, Toytec Ultimate Lift (2" rear/2.5-3.0" front), 1" body lift. Locking center diff (electronic, stock). So I sit about 5" taller than stock, but have about 3.5" more clearance than stock. It's no monster truck but it should eat up easier trails as long as I'm careful about the wheelbase getting me high-centered going over ledges.

Phoo, there will be some of my friends up this weekend that would be more than happy to wheel with you. If they don't, I just grabbed a new front drive shaft and need to break them in!

Hopefully I will make this, body is still recovering from the Eagle Bay WATR ride this passed Sunday (can still barely walk down stairs) apparently 70 miles of single-track on a yz450f is a bit much. Also may be buying a new to me bike Friday or Saturday down near Virginia Beach. Hopefully I can get the deal done quickly and drive straight up there.

A yz450F is a lot of bike for the trails at Eagle Bay. There are a lot of trails for a bike like a yz450f at Camp Granville.
