John A. Ayello Fallen Officer Memorial Rally

Event will be open to all makes and models. We will have two event rides;
Ride A, will be for Street, Touring, Cruisers, Choppers and Sport bikes.
Ride B, will be for Duel-Sport Adventure, (G.S.) Gelande Strasse bikes, 80% off-road & 20% on- road, 500cc and above street legal bikes only.
Both rides will start on 29th Aug 2009 at 09:00 am Hermy’s BMW Port Clinton, and finish at Fernwood music camp located at in Hazelton, PA
Police K-9 unit demonstration will be provided at 01:00 pm food , bike and riders equipment. Live DJ. vendors will also be on location at Fernwood music camp. Door prizes and 50/50 raffle tickets.
Event cost:
Walk-inn $45.00 incl AM Food
Rider $35.00 incl T-Shirt & AM Food
Passenger $15.00 incl T-Shirt & AM Food
Off-road (G.S.) fees/permits may apply
This event is limited to 200 bikes; please go to our web site at http://ppcarally.tripod.com

29th Aug? Hmmm... the dual-sport ride looks interesting - Yo Bucho - seems like you have to go dude - this is close enough we could ride up/back.

500cc and up for the D/S? That sucks, guess I'll have to do the road stuff on the 14.

Good ideas, maybe I will just slap "650" stickers on the DRZ, think anybody would notice? I might take you up on the KTM offer but I have bought enough $650 radiators for KLR's to last a life time.

but a set of crash bars for him and save on radiators!

The KTM has radiator guards and it is a PB300 KTM 520 aka 450 w/o 450 stickers :bandit:

I was thinking the same thing w/ the 500cc rule, what the crap is that? I wish I had a street legal KX500 (or something similar) to ride.

Probably the same whiny :bull: that we got at the PB300 last year.

The big GS riders are intimidated by the smaller, more manuverable bikes that don't fall over so often. :lol2:
