Probably be out there Saturday with WATR doing trail "work" if I can fix my knee brace by then.

I work Saturday. Sunday will by my first day off after working 96 regular hours and 48 OT hours. I highly doubt I'll be up for riding on the 13th.

Did you join watr Joe? I'm thinking about it for eagle Bay access. I'm wondering if the property is on the Bay or if there's nearby access so my wife can sit by the water while I ride. That'd be a good selling point...

I joined in the spring.
You can see the bay from the parking area at EB.

Yeah, I just don't know if they are right on the water or have some kind of rights there.gots_a_sol wrote:You can see the bay from the parking area at EB.

What time are you "working" Sat. How much work needs to be done?
Is it bring your own chain saw?

Re: Taskers Sunday 12/13
It is probably going to be clearing brush and/or marking trail. I think someone said something about digging/setting some posts too.
I'm pretty sure you have to be certified to run a chain saw as it is national forest.

Chainsaw, yup, need a sawyer certificate to run a saw as a volunteer. I don't know what the overall plan is, but I'm hoping to run up to clean some of the deadfall from the ridge trail.gots_a_sol wrote:It is probably going to be clearing brush and/or marking trail. Eagle bay, you can see the water, but you aren't on it.

On second look, it looks like you can get to the water without issue.
