Allow me to answer....KTM is more trials whereas Beta is more dirt bike. Both come with open titles and equipped/pre-wired for street.

Beta a tad heavier, but larger tank. Beta seems better bang for buck, and fewer bucks needed.

BTW I saw one of Mike's old bikes at the Sherco/Beta shop...in pieces :lol2:

They have a X Trainer on the floor....thought you would have taken home with you. BTW you are welcome to ride mine anytime. Will add the KTM has a fixed tank size....Beta you can get larger tank. Both good fun. Beta had oil injection and runs nice and clean. Minimal smoking out your buddies. Beta fully wired with everything for easy plating. Beta has 50 more CC to lug my fat ass around.

My 2cents.

The Xtrainer feels like an enduro bike. Where the Freestyle feels a little different, not saying thats a bad thing... Just a touch more trialszy.

I see a new xtrainer for $6650. I shouldn't have been looking. I talked to my wife last week about wanting a new bike and she didn't seem annoyed by the topic... ;)

Hah, my youngest daughter has been calling herself the beta of the family for years (with me being the alpha) and tells her older sister this fairly frequently. I told her yesterday that I might be bringing a new bike into the house and, if I do, she will be bumped from that position by the new Beta and will have to settle for gamma of the household.
