Columbus Day (Monday 10/10) ride anyone?

FWIW, I wish I had a new rear tire still. That Mountain Hybrid doesn't like moisture laden environments.

All loaded up and ready to get my butt kicked tomorrow. If I had the money, I'd be looking hard at a newer bike. I've been thinking that those Beta Xtrainers look pretty sweet...

Jed was loaded up so I'm pretty hopeful. Otherwise this may be a very, very mellow ride.

We had a great ride today. Kirk, Sam, and I all trolled along at The Cove. I think we did the red and blue loops a couple times as well as various other small sections of something. I think one of the Jeep trails we were on was called Boulder 6...you can guess how that went. I've got lots of footage, Kirk should too. Lots of smallish log crossings throw into the mix with a couple reasonably sized ones too. No injuries or major bike damage (I broke a RAM mount for my GPS). It was a good day to be out riding with beautiful weather, pretty leaf-less trails, and not too much moisture on the ground. Even the rocks felt softer today.

I'm too dumb to point the camera up enough so I did not get good footage. I'm also too dumb to keep all 4 wheels on the pavement coming home as I dropped the driver's side wheels into the dirt while passing Sam on Rt 50 (I hope I didn't freak you out, actually I hope you didn't notice).

Still, it was a good day of riding. I must've banged my left thigh on something at some point as I've got that deep down soreness going on.
