In skydiving, anytime you have a "first", you owe a case of beer. Multiple firsts on the same jump (or the same event) only require 1 case. It's a celebration and rite of passage. And when you get to partake in their largesse, it's a wonderful thing. It leads to a lot of good NSTIWTIWGD stories, too. (No Shit, There I Was, Thought I Was Gonna Die)

I got a new pair of shoes mounted now. Shinko cheater 505 and a 546 fatty. Newly adjusted worn out sprockets, new fluids and filter, nut and bolted. I'm ready and excited. God willing I'll be there Friday morning ready to ride. Might bring Rzr for other testing purposes but not a priority. YeeHaa

Checked the MountainRidge webpage. Do I understand correctly that all non-riders have to pay 25$ entrance fee per day + whatever the camping costs are? In that case I'm coming alone (if they let me :D). Too expensive to take someone with me who will probably just do nothing (don't know what this event is all about, but rides where I participated before were not really spectator friendly :).

I just looked at their website (on my phone). I didnt see anything about nonriders having to pay.
The $25 is just for riders.

As long as we are talking about it. Have the prices gone up? I dont remember paying more than $20 to ride for the day.
Will we get anysort of a group rate for bringing in a large group of riders/campers? I believe they have done that in the past.

Their website did say something about groups. I think we need to call and discuss a rate if we have more than 10 coming.

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Starting in May(Closed on Tuesday) $15/person
Weekends and Holidays - $25 per person
Multi-Day Rates:
Day 2 - $45
Day 3 - $65​​
Weekend Groups: (Rates per person)
6-9 $20
10 + $18


Nothing about riders or not, so I assumed the worst case :D
