Fantic History

Post by Firebolter »

I was reading an article about new Fantic enduro's that are in Europe (no plans to bring to the US) and looked at the Fantic page and clicked on their "Heritage" page. Some cool pictures. Look at the bottom about the 72-73 "Choppers" Fantic made. Too cool.

125cc 2T chopper? Neat

I had a friend who was a Harley fanatic. I always wanted him to get one of the little Italian Aeromacchi 2T from the late 60’s early 70’s. He refused to acknowledge those ever existed as Harley Davidson bikes

You’re friend probably doesn’t think that the AMF Harley’s aren’t Harley’s either. Which is sad if AMF hadn’t taken it over Harley Davidson would have been gone long ago. I would love to have one of those 2 stroke bikes today.

I bet a lot of harley folks won't acknowledge the new adv or roadster bikes either. They need to do something or they won't survive. Their riders are getting old and they aren't being replaced by young people.

Probably one of the best engine builders ever. Many of the air cooled trials bikes still running strong, I have one of them. Chopper I will pass on.
