I had the exact same bike! It was fun and did the ride to Goose Bay just fine.

I mowed lawns all summer to buy a Honda Z50 in a box of parts. This thing would be a step up!

My son rode a ke100 around Greenridge for a while. It was his first clutch bike.

My wife's one and only motorcycle was a KE100. I took her to the pits in Laurel, MD and was heading with her to one of the trails on the access rd (she had done the MSF course but no other riding). There was a teeny, weeny eroded section across the road and it freaked her out. She rode right over it without incident but still she wasn't happy about it. She'll still tell people the story of how I led her into the mouth of death 20 years later.

She stalled it later and couldn't get it started. She would kind of push the kickstarter, not actually kick it. I showed her that it's so easy I can start it with my hand. It started right up on my first try (after she'd been pushing at it for a few minutes). I really feel like I did it without sarcasm or anything like that, I was just demonstrating that it doesn't require much strength, just a bit of snap. I think that was the one and only time she went out with it. :dirtdog:

Her brother abused it for awhile and eventually she gave the bike away. I think I still have the street title for it.

Oh, and we are still married...
