Budds Creek

Post by John F » Thu May 21, 2020 11:57 am

I rode the afternoon session at Budd's yesterday. They have a morning session that runs from 8-12 or so, and an afternoon session from 1-5. The track was perfect, and they only permit 10 riders, so it was pretty empty. There were a couple of guys there that were fun to watch--they flew. I also tried the "new" woods track. I thought it was great. Narrower than Wicomico, twisty and fast enough to keep it plenty interesting, but not so difficult that it was exhausting or you couldn't get out of 1st gear. It was also really easy to "social distance" at Budds,

I believe Budds is sold out for riding on weekends through late July. Weekday spots fill up, and when I checked this morning, they had 2 spots for today, and then the next spots were for Tuesday and Thursday of next week.

Last I checked, Wicomico was supposed to open but didn't.
