Did you document the build? Where do you run it at? I did autocross years ago at ripken stadium but that hobby died when the venue was no longer available.

I just took lots of pictures. Properly documenting a build takes a lot of time, it took 2 years to complete the build so didn't want to add any time. I titled it as a street rod, using a triumph tr4 title that was one of many donors. Since it was plated I simply had fun with it, stop light to stoplight and backroads. Didn't autocross it, but the new owner out in Colorado autocrosses it routinely. I sold it to help fund a house flip, wish I would have kept it.

I think this one is a little more than 65K-but DAMN it is pretty. The paint/color scheme meh-but the car itself, one of my favorite designs.

You might be surprised. When the series it ran in shut down, there was a similar BMW avail for $50 IIRC. Was worth WAY more than that but no one wanted to jump on it as just a track toy.

Ah, I don't think I'd be surprised. This car is new, zero miles and comes with an entire race pack-Endurance Package installed and the Large Starter Kit. If this car was less than 150K maybe I'd be surprised. Renntech is a premier Mercedes performance shop, the guy who started the company used to work for AMG back in the earlier days and then formed Renntech. Pretty sure this thing is north of 150-Might have to call for kicks! Notice the VIN "AMG GT3 190 16 065" that is not a normal VIN as this is not a normal production car just hopped up.

So how much is it?

I'm suspicious of them selling a 2016 chassis in 2021. Entire race series come and go faster then that. Race cars age faster than dogs do. If it's not legal (or competitive) to run in the class it was built for, no way they will get close to the build price for it. Thats why I said you "might" be surprised.

I looked in my emails. In Mar 2017 Turner was selling their ex-IMSA Riley tube frame racecar for $50k w/ S62 and sequential. I have some pics saved but not one of it fully put together. A couple of us were considering it as it would run in the (lonely) NASA GTSU / Super Unlimited classes. Its only about $10k more than the E46 racecar build one of my buddies built. It was also cheaper (and faster) than a 996 Cup Car. In the end, no real race class and impossible to get spares killed everyone's interest.

The VIN isn't a legal VIN because its a tube frame race car.

I sent a email to the address on the page, we'll see if the person responds. I asked them for the price.
