Kids electric dirt bikes?
My kids are getting bigger. The 8 year old has been bugging me to ride the CRF-70 so I finally cleaned the carb today and put him on it. He was in 3rd gear WOT in the first lap around the farm. The 7 year old is the same size he is, but way more timid and he won't even try riding the PW-50. He did just learn to ride a bicycle, though. The 11 year old can fit on my wife's Sur-Ron and the 13 year old fits it perfectly.
I am going to sell the PW-50. I'd like to get something electric that is CRF-70 or a little bigger but not full size Sur-Ron for the kids to ride. Naturally, the smaller Segway dirt bike would be good for the 11 year old and the 8 year old wouldn't be far behind to riding that where the 13 year old could still easily fit on it. Are there other reliable options out there for electric bikes/dirt bikes that the kids could use? The Stacyc 16 is too small for the 7 year old by weight already.

I have the 11yr old on the little Surron (Segway x160). Not many (any?) other electric options in that size. I think it's awesome. If we meet up somewhere your kids are welcome to try it out.
Its sprung for adults so I put a shorter and lighter rear coil on it. You can drop the air pressure in the forks enough to work with their weight. I used to see X160s cheap on Craigslist but haven't been looking recently.

Yeah, the girls (13 and 11) fit on the Sur-Ron fine, though the 11 year old is built smaller and could spend a few years happily on a X160. The boys can't touch the ground at all on the Sur-Ron but are too big for a Stacyc 16. The fearless 8 year old has the CRF70 maxed out for speed already. The 7 year old cries just sitting on a running PW50 but he wants to ride a dirt bike. He only recently learned to ride his bicycle and he's bigger than his older brother, though. I was hoping there was an OK electric option out there that is smaller than the X160 but bigger than a CRF70.

Oh, you want even smaller. The KTM SE-5(?) is smaller than the X160. I do understand they turn up used in MX circles. I was at Tomahawk last year w/ the SurRon and someone mentioned they sold their kids SE-5. Says there are a couple of them around. I've NEVER seen one for sale on CL or FB.

Those would probably be ideal but they're $$$. I could buy another Sur-Ron and a used 90cc bike for the price of a new SE-5.

Other than meh battery life with the SLA batteries, the Oset 20 I got off Bucho has been doing good for the kid. She just turned 9 last month. Being able to adjust the bike's performance on the fly via a few knobs is great.
Might be a little big for your youngest, but they have a 16 also (saw two on fbmp in VA and PA)

Hmmm, the Oset 20.0R Lithium is probably a good fit. I had forgotten about that brand.

Speaking of kids on electrics…
We borrowed Sam’s Taleria/Surron to play with today.
Kind of a wet/slick day but we had fun. The electrics are really cool
