Came across this video of desert racing in 1967 and I say real men because the majority of the riders are on big, heavy, no real suspension 4 stroke British bikes like BSA, Triump etc. 801 riders start the race, ~250 finish. This is when Husky was new to the US market. I love the scene where they come to a pit stop, they fuel the guys bike, then he asks for a cigarette and they light him one up, stick it in his mouth and he blasts off-too funny
I have been having problems with the server running out of resources and giving errors. It is better but I'm still getting some periodically. Please report any you get to me at ken@kyler.com.

Re: Old school Hare and Hound video-real men!
I found this one from 1964. These are freaking cool man. I love how this one was made. It's got that "Mutual of Omaha" Wild Kingdom vibe! (old school TV show reference for old guys)
Lots of cool bikes---
