Well NSYM, not all of us got water in our boots! I stood up on the pegs just soon enough when the water went to the tank and got lucky taking the same line you took. I got to watch you, so I kinda knew what to expect, that's why I went across right after you so I wouldn't screw up the line-

This was day 5, after you left. How was fishing, btw?

Ah, I thought you were referring to Day 3 when we got into the swamp! Fishing was okay, I stopped at the reservoir and fish the bridge and back up in the creek. Only fished for an hour or so then headed out-
1107 dollar in gas @17.7 mpg. Not bad for doing mostly 80mph all day both ways!

You mean Day3 where I failed my crossing and fell over in a nasty swamp muck
If thats on someone’s helmet cam Id prefer that never sees the light of day and I can just forget it happened

Ill throw a couple pics up.
Dave is an awesome, super cool guy. Its obvious in this ingenious way he carries an extra snack. We rode some really rough stuff and it was still there later for him to eat on a break.

Phoo rode his bike up to this sketchy spot. The rest of us parked 20 ft below on a wide, flattish spot

I thought this would be a good spot to stop and take a pic. It wasnt. Maybe I grabbed my front brake too hard? The front slipped right out. I threw the bike down and hoped it would stay on the trail. It took some effort. Managed to push front back up onto narrow trail
