Thats a pretty cool way to drop a motor into a frame w/o mods. Can appreciate the engineering and work. I see he left the kick starter on :)
But gears are pretty much pointless on most AC motors and he'll take an efficiency hit w/ all those constant mesh gears. Just pick a slightly bigger motor and/or buy a slightly bigger controller to do the whole speed/torque range.

Me too. My welding sucks. I just enjoy watching people do stuff like this and all of the little tricks you learn from their projects.

Part 3-this is really cool. Makes his own gear to interface the clutch basket to the electric motor.and harden treats it.
