Re: Goldwing anyone?
I had an '83 LeadWing (it was collateral for a loan) for about a year. It was actually a really fun bike to ride, provided you respected it's limits.
There is nothing quite like going around an exit ramp, hung off, dragging floor boards, leaving a trail of sparks while listening to George Thorogood on the stereo.
I really liked it, and kind of miss it. For the money, I ought to have kept it.

Re: Goldwing anyone?
I had an '02 1800 for a while and hated it. Something that big and heavy shouldn't be on 2 wheels.
Re: Goldwing anyone?
Yeah, it went mostly well... until I got my right of way violated, and crashed trying to avoid getting pinched into the curb.
Interestingly, the older bikes were much lighter, although not as fast due to the 1800cc 6-cyl in the newer ones. The original '75 model was actually considered a GT model, comparable to an ST1300 today. It was actually quite fast, compared to other bikes of the era.
