Didn't realize Rocket was so close. How do you like the YZ? I am looking for a bike and am doing the whole 2 stroke vs 4 debate. Any ideas, since you have both.

I like the smoother power delivery of the 4 stroke personally. Although I haven't ridden any modern 2 strokes, just old ones, so my view may be skewed. I chose the YZ250F more for reliability and ride-ability than power (Greens and Reds are faster but require more attention). I've ridden it at the track, in a hare scramble, and even took it to Taskers Gap, and it did great in all places. Very light, way faster than "trail bikes" and lots of torque up hill-climbs. I have no gripes :rayof: You are welcome to try it out in Easton if you'd like :whoop:

That sounds fine, if you are sure you don't mind picking us up. Don't know where Chris lives but I am in Pasadena by Ft Smallwood Park. Easton is only open till 4p on Sunday, so we should get there before noon, if possible. I think they open at 10a, not that we have to be there right when they open. And if you don't like jumps you can go around them and still work on turns and riding ruts. Good skills no matter where you ride.

Don't get too excited about the trails there, like I originally said, they are crappy, but you can work on your 180 degree turns as they have a quite a few through a pine tree section. :knary:

Sorry you can't make it Dave...next time. The nice thing about Easton is they don't have races so no need to work around a race schedule, just go and ride.

Great day for a ride! Track was good, watered at 1:30, Chris and I had a fun time at Easton MX. :whoop: The woods, by DAMN rider standards, were hilarious, but it was still fun to rip down the long straightaways to yet another 180 turn. :lol2:
Hope everyone got a chance to get out and :roost:

Awesome day at the track, sorry no pics this time. Bryan was good enough to let me try his YZF250. Holy Moly! Welcome to the future. That bike is incredible. My list of bikes I am considering to buy just got a lot smaller.
Thanks again, Bryan.
