I sometimes end up on gnarly trails at Michaux and carry my mtb for a while. Still a work out.
I don't know why I'm so late coming to this but is the most fun I've had getting exercise since I don't know when. These kids that I'm playing with are all in junior high school and spend as much time maintaining and improving the trails as they do riding. Really good kids. Their dad is cool with me riding their bikes and letting them ride the Sur Ron (in safe mode).

Other than the cruiser bike I've got a pretty decent hybrid but it's nothing like the awesome bikes these kids are riding. Maybe I can get one of their hand-me-downs when their dad buys them the next cool thing.

That would be awesome! I'll definitely bring mine. Wes, you can use the Cannondale if ya want. It is a low mile, pristine Cannondale Jekyll with a Lefty front end-26 inch rims/wheels. You should come get it, set it up and ride it for a while. Then you can decide if you want to get one in a couple of months.

How do you touch the ground on a 26".....I was thinking you would be more of a 20" BMX guy. Any Skinny J calls trials tires and bikes gay... where did you go wrong Billy?

You don't touch the ground when you are riding son. And my newer bike is a 27.5 but it has a dropper seat post, so good to go- You ought to be riding a pedal bike some, DAMN good for ya and you use alot of the same skills as you do in trials like balance, momentum etc. Trials tires ARE GAY on dirtbikes-

13 miles today at Great Cacapon Park in Morgan county.

Lot of pretty easy trail and well marked for the most part.

Some not so much (I turned around and took the road to the top of this)

Looks pretty nice! I walked out and worked on my trail today. Great day to get outside. Finished cutting face slappers and a couple of new lines. Lake looks really nice and rose up quite a bit with that last big rain. Going to eat some lunch then go ride it!

Entry from the waking trail-

Nice and open line now
