It's that time of the year again :loveit: Time to sign up for the Michaux dualsport August 8, 2010. Only the first 150 riders get to participate, so get your entries in early. I thought this one was a blast last year. All the options have a brief description of the trail, length, and rank. (Although I wouldn't really trust the ranking ) This one has a little something for everyone, and is a ton of fun.

I know $45 seems stiff to some of you, but you don't need an AMA membership for this event. Plus you get continental breakfast, BBQ lunch (Passenger, pit helper, wife, girlfriend, etc., get free lunch), Ice Cream at the finish, and a 22nd Anniversary t-shirt.

This is a great ride with some good options and they feed you like kings.
With the 150 rider limit the traffic in the woods is minimal.

That was what my toilet said.... :hitsthefan: I'm not convinced that the food was the issue. There was a bunch of discussion about that in the week or so after the event. It hit me Monday night, and all day Tuesday, causing me to miss my first full day of work in 34 years due to illness. If it had been a food issue, I should have been sick 24 hours prior to when I actually became ill.

They had it well marked last year but someone...unhappy local tree huggers???...removed a bunch of the markers, resulting in rider confusion. Our group had an issue with that. It'd surprise me if they gave out GPS coordinates. A lot of what is opened up for the ride is closed the rest of the time. For the sake of obtaining permission for future rides, ride route planners don't like that info to get out.
