Personally I was a fan of the day 2 flow but that's splitting hairs.
I didn't get to finish Day 2. But what I rode was fun.

At the first gas stop (we got there late), I was freezing (hard to stay warm when you are wet) and both Grady & Dak were ready to call it a day - didn't take much to convince me to bag it.

Wow, tuff call...............
I would say day 2, that fast flowing section was :rayof: .
The format on day one was better for guys wanting to have an easier day, you could just bail in with the big bike route.
The gas stop on day two was a bit of a pain, but if I only had a DSA bud to tip me off that a WAWA was only a couple miles away I would not have wasted 1/2 hour of premium riding time. :wallbash:

yeah, that would have been nice. I stood in line for at least 30 minutes waiting to get some fuel.

I really liked some of the faster firecuts/single track on day 2, but I still liked all the really tight stuff on Day One.

I loved the flow of day 2, but the roller coaster section on day 1 was my favorite. If there wasn't so much traffic, it would have been a little more fun to be able to carry more speed through the hills. Unfortunately I seemed to keep getting stuck behind some slower riders in that section and people stopped at the tops debating on going down the other sides.

He was doing an exceptional job leading and setting a brisk pace. :roost:

We were riding a section of forest road (albeit narrow) and the track goes through a mud puddle and makes an immediate left into the woods just beyond the edge of the puddle.

Some might argue I was riding too close to Grady's rear wheel and carrying too much speed :salute:

But instead of making the left turn into the woods, he turns right and stops! :frustrated:

I grab too much front brake and tuck the front end. :fitz:

The puddle interfered with my desired dry landing spot.

So it is Grady's fault because (a) he wasn't riding fast enough to stay far enough out front and leave me more room; and (b) making that sudden right turn and stopping causing me to dump in the puddle. :censored:

Did that pretty much describe it Dak?

That DAMN Grady sure doesl cause a LOT of trouble. One minute you're just riding along enjoying yourself.

Next thing you know he MAKES you crash in a puddle :lol2:
