I shoulda known...

I took a short ride this afternoon to cool off. It ain't a DAMN ride unless you cross a DAMN creek! But this should have been an omen...

so I ditty bop around my favorite loop and stop for a pic at the "No School Buses Beyond This Point" sign (my favorite sign in Frederick County).

Image

the flash goes off which I thought odd and just chalked it up to being under the trees.

I love this bridge

then I notice that the darkness is a friggin' storm cloud chasing me :frustrated:

so I plug a beeline into the Zumo and don't get far before...

DAMNed if it doesn't start coming down in buckets!

hey, at least the bike is clean now! :lol2:

With the way that wind's blowing it looks like it might have been blowing rain right in your exhaust :lol2:

I got caught in it on my way home yesterday...it started about 1/4 mile from home and the skies just opened up as soon as I got under my carport. I thought about staying out for a little, but the wind was killer!

I rode out of it as I got home and thought about continuing the ride to dry off, but as I pulled into my driveway the rain caught up with me.
