The National Forest Service monitors our behavior closely! Irresponsible riders need not apply. Please save your enduro riding skills for an enduro!

THE RIDE: Approximately 500 km (300 miles) total over both days of scenic back roads, dirt roads and trails.

DIFFICULTY: Relaxed and fun for all riders with some trail riding and road experience. Optional 'hero' sections for the more experienced and adventurous riders. This is not a race!

Please call 540-350-2510 to make your camping reservations ASAP. Electric hook-ups are available. FOOD: Entry fee includes lunch for Saturday and Sunday. Hot breakfast available Sat. & Sun. Spaghetti dinner available Saturday night.

Hopefully see some of you there!

For those who haven't done it, if you did 7 Mountains or have ridden in that area, very similar. There won't be as many options as 7 Mountains, but it is fun none the less.

2 day event! But you can ride/register for only 1 of the 2 days if you like.

I ned a second sidecar passenger. Bucho says he's been abused enough this year and needs someone to switch off with - anyone?

Anyone remember the cost to register for the ride last year? Assuming it will be about the same this year.

IIRC camping was $24 per nite, correct?

We haven't finalized the price yet (I am a club member and help work the event). Still working with the food vendors and others to lock up everything and finalize prices. It might go up some, don't know today. Best thing to do is send an email to the address in my first post (dualsport@nvtr.org) ask to be added to the email notification list for the event. As soon as we lock in the price and details, you will get an email automatically with the details for registration and price etc.

Natural Chimneys, I just called them to confirm their prices

I'm planning on doing this one. Probably do this like I did last year and go down the monday before the event. Spend the week riding around the area and end the week with the dualsport event. Last year according to the website the campground was only open weekends, but I had no problem renting for the week. Nice big campsites, last year I had someone tent camp next to my trailer with no problems.

FYI last year the entry was $60 a day or $80 for the weekend

Unless something crazy comes up, I'm going.

Just need to work out the details. Like Ken mentioned, is anyone interested in taking a turn as a sidecar monkey? I have no problem doing the majority of it, but would be nice to have someone else spot me now and then.
