I miss riding

Hey All,
It's been a while since I've been dirting it, hopefully that will change in the near future, but who knows. My twins are four now and I am starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Every time I see a nice DS bike on the For Sale forum, I get antsy. Hope to see you out there one of these days.

Hey! If my memory serves, you had the KX250, right? We rode together once at that Wicky's World place on a sub-freezing day. Good to hear that dirt might be back in the picture for you.

Yep, that was a cold day. Nice little track he had out there.

I hear ya Chris, I stopped riding for a few years when the kids were little. Then I got a DS and a few years later Jr got a PW. It''ll all come together soon. Now I'm waiting to get Jr out of the house so I can get another bike. :rickey:

I like those KXes too - late 90s? I had an old 89 KX125 that I have fond memories of.

I dunno... this one was pretty dead when I got it. But with a little love and care (and cash) it came back to life. A smarter person would have just buried it. :lol2:

Sweet build on the.XR. Do you any spare parts from the other xr? Like an extra exhaust muffler?

I'd have to look, but I might have a 1988 exhaust. It won't work without modification (think sledgehammer) on a newer XR250 with a rear disk.
