Hare led us around RAC back at the end of February; it was 35 degrees and snowing off and on; and it was fantastic. Lots of sweet single track, streams, lakes, hills, woods, open play areas; its all there. So we are going back again and try to explore the other 19,999 acres we did not see last time...

You need a $125 permit for a calendar year. I went there once, it was cold and had snow squalls, and I already got my money's worth. I figure this next trip is combination of "free" and "dollar cost averaging." :)
