Offroad Riding 6/16 (Sat)

Post by Bucho »

Is there any riding going on this weekend? I havnt been offroading since Mt Ridge and even then I barely got to actually ride.
I was thinking about The Cove, though I would be up for almost anything if anybody else is interested.
(Come on Ken, I know you aren't going to NH this weekend...)

I need to be home relatively early, ( I was informed). So the Cove would work well as long as we get an early start. Show up when they open.

I'm open to other ideas as long as I can be home by 1600 or so.

I would like to make this even though I have no idea what or where the Cove is. I am trying to rearrange my weekend plans with my family. How much is it to ride there? Where is it?

The Cove is $50 for the day. It is set up with a few loops that are well marked for difficulty and direction. Well, mostly well marked. The first time we did one loop we ended up following the arrows and had fun but the next time we "missed" the turn and ended up on an awesome trail we missed the first time. They have a reputation for being rocky but I didn't think it was bad but I also didn't ride the pink trail either, which is labeled "rocks" "rocks" "more rocks" "rocks here too" "even more rocks" "rocks" on the map they give you. I had a good time and felt I got my money's worth.
